A new report on HMP Wandsworth, where prisoner Daniel Khalife managed to escape from last month, has found it to be “unsafe and inhumane”.

Daniel Abed Khalife, 21, a former soldier who fled HMP Wandsworth on Wednesday, was arrested on suspicion of being unlawfully at large and being an escaped prisoner.
He was being held at HMP Wandsworth awaiting trial for planting a fake bomb and gathering information that might be useful to terrorists or enemies of the UK.
Inmates were kept in the cells at the Category B prison for nearly a day at a time with a damning report from last year finding that HMP Wandsworth, in London, was overcrowded with "very poor" living conditions.
